Why is it we all expected something to go wrong? Maybe it’s a Brit thing? But wow what a show. I have to say I had a tear in my eye watching the opener for 2012 games, I actually felt proud – our history, culture and as for our music – we lead the world. But to see it all condensed and put together was a treat. The influence our creative culture and talent has on the world is amazing and something to really carry (forget the weather). Mr Danny Boyle did a fantastic job and on such an enormous scale. It was epic. Now we need some medals!
